​Planning Your “brand“
Name of artists

The artists in our group are Lisa and Vicky from Y13 and Tyler and David from Y11. we all use our original names in the music video, Tyler is a cheerful, optimistic and respectful figure who wears Hawaiian style clothes and is very good friends with David. David is a slightly introverted character, but he is also very cheerful, positive and has a very respectful attitude towards girls. The two of them are very positive and respectful to Vicky and Lisa, which shows that they are like the group of people who respect women in the society, and Vicky and Lisa are the girls who are respected in the society. But this music video has nothing to do with its original music video artists.

We want people to feel at ease and feel relaxed by the messages we deliver. Deliver a positive energy.

Like just the feeling of going when you want to go, very spontaneous, without thinking about anything else.

We will probably have some online activities that will interact with the audience and have some benefits for them, which will bring more attention to us. Some offline events and activities in social media will bring a lot of traffic.

This is our digipak of the song that we cover, it included some elements in the Music video, e.g. water and yellow represent sunshine.

Who is your artist and what is their “brand”?

But then we changed the final song, Old town road, and the main actors in the video are Lisa vicky and Tyler. Lisa and Vicky will play two people who have travelled back in time to the cowboy era and become detectives in order to catch Tyler, who is wanted. Lisa and Vicky's costume makes it obvious that they are two cowboys who have travelled back in time. tyler plays a thief who steals a treasure, and his black outfit and sneaky look as he steals the treasure shows off his identity.

 

We wanted the audience to be transported into the play and to bring a very different feel to it.

Who is the target audience? How do you know?

According to previous research on this song, the audience group is mostly teenagers and people who like pop music, so we have made further adjustments in this direction when making this MV, and we intend to add a tiktok dance to a small section of it. The addition of the dance will resonate with more viewers.

How will you aim to include your audience?
  1. Incorporate interactive elements: Consider incorporating interactive elements into your music video that allow the viewers to participate. This could be through virtual reality, augmented reality or even allowing them to choose how the video progresses.

  2. Tell a compelling story: People love stories that move them, so if your music video has a story that they can relate to, it will keep them engaged.

  3. Showcase relatable themes: Ensure that your music video is relatable to the audience with themes that they can easily connect with. For example, themes such as love, heartbreak, loss, struggle, and triumph are popular with audiences.

  4. Showcase diversity: Be inclusive in your music video by featuring actors and dancers from diverse backgrounds. This will show the audience that you value inclusivity and diversity in your work.

  5. Engage with social media: Use social media to interact with your audience and encourage them to share their thoughts about your video. This will create a feedback loop, allowing you to know the aspects of your video that resonate with your audience or those that need improvement.

How will you use “fans”?
  1. Old town road was a popular song for a long time before in 2018-2019, after the song was gradually going to run out of heat, we made another mv that would give more audience a part of the memories. Also because of the previous fans of the song and Lil Nas X, having a fan base will give the song more traffic. Tagging some relevant topics will also draw attention when we want to post to a certain social media.
