EDITING
I wasn't the main person responsible for editing, but later on in the finishing stages I was responsible for the whole music video with vicky.
For some of the clips it was a bit difficult to edit. There was a lot of reworking and cutting to get our clips to fit the music. We used the newbie-friendly software, Cutscene, to edit the video. We followed some tiktok and youtube videos to improve our skills and the editing was the same as our storyboard. We use a special filter to make the colour of the tree change according to the rhythm jam. This makes a stable shots look more diverse.

Some effects can be added automatically, we just add effects where we need them, then jam the rhythm, determine the duration of the effects we need and we are done.
We didn't edit the colour grade for most of our shots, we shot with a Canon camera and the colours from that camera were just right for what we wanted. We shot in the afternoon, when the light was perfect for shooting. We also took advantage of the sunset to finish the shoot, which gave us the final light effect. But later on, when we did the shot of the hayloft, we used a fill light, which was a cool colour and was placed right next to the camera. Much of our movement was based on the narritive speed of the story, for example the shots where the music suddenly disappears in the middle, to highlight the important clues that the characters find. This will also make the audience pay more attention to what we want to emphasize.

We only added keyframes inside some shots and it followed our movement to move the camera. e.g. The shots below.

Overall, I was satisfied with our editing, but at the end of the screening, the mouth shape did not match up on the big screen, which we felt was a shame. There were also some things we needed to improve in terms of movement.
